Irish Rep to Present Nate Rufus Edelman's THE BELLE OF BELFAST; Claudia Weill to Direct

Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) proudly announces the fourth production of its 27th theatre season, the New York premiere of Nate Rufus Edelman's THE BELLE OF BELFAST, directed by Claudia Weill. THE BELLE OF BELFAST was developed as part of the Irish Rep's Reading Series in 2013. THE BELLE OF BELFAST will begin previews on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. The production is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 7, 2015. The Opening Night is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2015.
Sketty Theatre to Stage World Premiere of RESULT

Sketty Theatre presents the world premiere of Result, a new play that confronts the image of glamour and wealth in football and exposes the hidden existence of depression and anxiety among young players. Co-directed by brothers Toby and Alex Clarke, and inspired by the career of a Premier League sports psychologist, it will run at the Pleasance Theatre from 21 April to 17 May, with a press night on 23 April.

Lost & Found Project, an edgy ensemble of next generation storytellers, curates a world premiere of KNOCK: A Journey to a Strange Country, a new play inspired by writings of the Russian avant-garde absurdist Daniil Kharms. KNOCK is written and presented by the award-winning Lost & Found Project, a division of National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) FolksbieneRU. Eleven performances will be staged at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, in New York, N.Y., from March 4-22, 2015.

The Players Club of Swarthmore presents three new plays by local authors, directed on the PCS Second Stage by Rose Azrael and Ellen Wilson Dilks, both of Media. The playwrights are Quinlan Schultz of Swarthmore and Lisa Lutwyche of Chester County. The plays are The Waiting Room by Quinlan Schultz and two by Lisa Lutwyche, Getting the News and So Busy.
Artists to Create Works Inspired by MTC's ENDGAME

Following a successful collaboration last year Melbourne Theatre Company and Arts Project Australia have renewed their artistic partnership for MTC's Endgame. The cast and creative team of Endgame will be joined in rehearsals by four visual artists from Arts Project, who will create original drawings and paintings inspired by MTC's new production of Beckett's modern masterpiece.

Robert Menzies has withdrawn from Sydney Theatre Company's forthcoming production of Endgame by Samuel Beckett, for health reasons. Tom Budge has taken on the role of Clov. The production, also featuring Hugo Weaving, Sarah Peirse and Bruce Spence directed by Andrew Upton, is at Roslyn Packer Theatre Walsh Bay from 31 March to 9 May 2015 (Opening Night: Tuesday 7 April at 7.30pm).
