Variety has announced that Clint Eastwood is in talks with DreamWorks to direct the supernatural thriller Hereafter for the company led by Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider. The script is by Frost/Nixon scribe Peter Morgan.

The Almeida Theatre and Headlong co-production opens on March 28, 2008 with press night on April 3, and is running until May 10. Designs are by Anthony Ward, with lighting by Howard Harrison and sound and music by Adam Cork.
