The Laguna Playhouse welcomes back Rita Rudner, one of the country's top comediennes, for an exclusive three-day stand-up engagement, aptly titled Rita Rudner: Act 3, Friday, August 24 - Sunday, August 26, 2012. Performance times are 7 p.m. each evening.

Hot off his run in "Dancing with the Stars," Emmy-winning television star, celebrity stylist, author and fashion designer, Carson Kressley will return to the Ogunquit Playhouse as Mr. Applegate (aka the Devil himself!) in the 2012 production of Damn Yankees (the new Boston Red Sox version!), on stage tonight, July 25 - August 18. This summer the Ogunquit Playhouse is celebrating its 80th anniversary of producing award-winning theatre in Southern Maine. The Ogunquit Playhouse is set to open Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, on stage June 20 - July 15. This all-new production is based on the 2008 Tony Award winning Lincoln Center Theatre production.

Craig Smith, Managing Partner of the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining announced this morning that Joyce DeWitt will star in Sam Bobrick's romantic comedy, Remember Me. Miss DeWitt is most widely known to audiences for her starring role as 'Janet Wood' in the ABC Television hit series "Three's Company," but she is no stranger to live theater, working both as actress and director in a stage career which spans over forty years. She recently starred in A Scattered, Smothered and Covered Christmas Musical and the Canadian productions of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner With Friends and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo.
