Steppenwolf Theatre Company begins performances for Garage Rep 2015 on February 20, 2015, which features Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Heat Wave, Pride Films and Plays' production of Angry Fags and Red Tape Theatre's production of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. These innovative storefront companies will perform in rotating repertory under Steppenwolf's banner for ten weeks.

Casting has been completed for Red Tape Theatre's (RTT) upcoming Chicago Premiere of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. Since its inception in 1994, Salvage Vanguard Theater (SVT) has produced cutting-edge theater in Austin, premiering plays by distinguished theater artists such as Lisa D'Amour, Ruth Margraff, Dan Dietz, Caridad Svich, Jason Grote, Abi Basch, C. Denby Swanson and Andrea Thome.

Pivot Arts and Loyola University's Department of Fine and Performing Arts (DFPA) further their partnership with a unique performing arts incubator program for artists that includes mentorships for Loyola undergraduates. The program gives companies and individual artists time and space to develop work that is innovative and often blurs the boundaries between music, dance, theater and other disciplines. Students work alongside professional artists on each project as performers, assistant directors, dramaturgs and production managers.

La MaMa, in association with Crossing Jamaica Avenue, presents the New York Premiere of the acclaimed Deadly She-Wolf Assassin at Armageddon!, featuring original music and a concept by Fred Ho, co-written by Fred Ho and Ruth Margraff, directed by Sonoko Kawahara, with martial arts choreography by Emmanuel Brown (Broadway's Spiderman) and Japanese sword fighting choreography by Yoshi Amao. The show runs now through June 2, 2013 at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue & the Bowery. The show opens tonight, May 18 opening at 7:30pm.
