MARY POPPINS, Broadway's perfectly magical musical, is pleased to welcome all new Banks children to the Broadway cast: Brigid Harrington and Kara Oates will alternate the role of Jane Banks with Rozi Baker and Lewis Grosso will alternate the role of Michael Banks with David Gabriel Lerner and Anthony Scarpone-Lambert. Due to an injured actor, the workshop production of the new musical, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH was cancelled Thursday night at Goodspeed Musical's Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. according to an article from the Hartford Courant.

MARY POPPINS will welcome to the company Karl Kenzler as George Banks and Megan Osterhaus as Winifred Banks tonight, Monday, March 1. Kenzler and Osterhaus reprise the roles they originated in the critically-acclaimed North American touring production (currently performing in Tempe, Arizona through February 28 before opening in Denver, Colorado on March 5). 24-year old Noortje Herlaar has won the role of Mary Poppins after competing on a Dutch television show aimed at finding actor to fill the role. Fans came out in droves to vote for Herlaar, who won the competition.

Last night, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie brought four of their famous brood to a performance of MARY POPPINS on Broadway. The family is in town while Jolie finishes filming her upcoming film, Salt.
