Movie classic 'West Side Story' will be shown on Sunday, Sep 4 2:00p at Florida Theatre, Jacksonville, Florida

West Side Story producer Walter Mirisch, along with original cast members George Chakiris ('Bernardo') and Russ Tamblyn ('Riff'), as well as more than a dozen performers who played the 'Jets' and 'Sharks,' will attend Friday evening presentation of the iconic film with live orchestra, at the Hollywood Bowl, Friday, July 8, at 8 p.m. The film will also be shown Saturday, July 9, at 8 p.m.

Based on the hit Broadway musical of the same name, the iconic film WEST SIDE STORY returns in brilliant Blu-ray form November 15, 2011 from Twentieth Century Home Entertainment. Last night, October 27, Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD) presented its 9th Annual Gala - GOTTA DANCE! A Dance Tribute to Hollywood at City Center. BroadwayWorld attended the gala as well as the dress rehearsal earlier in the day. The nostalgic evening honored and paid tribute to that wonderful era when some of the most superb in dance and choreography was immortalized on film.
