Record Bookings for 2015's Family Arts Conference

After the huge success of the first Family Arts Conference in Birmingham in 2013, bookings have already hit a new high for the follow-up event on Friday 13 March. The conference will take place in London and will be split between Cadogan Hall and Royal Court Theatre; a pairing of concert hall and theatre that has been carefully chosen to reflect the cross-artform nature of the Family Arts Campaign, and those organisations engaged with the Campaign to date. UK Stage Actor Alan Howard Passes Away at 77

According to published reports, Alan Howard, who was a memeber of the Royal Shakespeare Company and actor at the Royal National Theatre, passed away last week in London from pneumonia. He was 77 years old.

Producers Howard Panter and John Frost today announced the full cast for the 2015 season of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, which will play at the Sydney Lyric Theatre from 11 April and the Comedy Theatre, Melbourne from 12 June.

The Nether is now in playing at the Duke of York's Theatre. Directed by Jeremy Herrin,Jennifer Haley's critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning play is booking for 12 weeks only to 25 April 2015.
David Calder (Doyle) joins original cast members Amanda Hale (Morris), Ivanno Jeremiah (Woodnut) and Stanley Townsend (Sims) who are joined by Jaime Adler, Zoe Brough, Perdie Hibbins and Isabella Pappas who alternate the role of Iris. Set designs are by Es Devlin, with costume designs by Christina Cunningham, lighting by Paul Pyant, compositions by Nick Powell, sound by Ian Dickinson and video design by Luke Halls.

the cell in association with The Furies will present a newly adapted version of Henrik Ibsen's GHOSTS entitled GHOSTS AFTER IBSEN written by Thomas Kilroy and directed by Austin Pendleton. Previews begin Monday, March 2, 2015 and the production will run until Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the cell, 338W 23rd St. The official opening will be on Friday, March 6th at 7:00 PM.

MISS MARPLE Star Geraldine McEwan Has Died at 82

Multitalented British actress and director, best known for portraying the Agatha Christie detective Miss Marple, Geraldine McEwan, has died at age 82. The BAFTA Award-winner's family says she died on January 30, due to complications from a stroke suffered in October.
