Dance on the Lawn (DOTL), established by Montclair resident Charmaine Warren in 2014 to increase New Jersey's exposure to dance, has received a $2500 grant from the Montclair Foundation in support of the organization's efforts to bring professional and emerging companies, plus students of dance from around the state, together to perform in a community setting.

Veteran musical producer and stage performer Lisa Dawn Miller – also the daughter of late famed Motown songwriter Ron Miller – has emerged as a gifted singer/songwriter in her own right with the release of two emotionally-charged ballads, “It's Time” and “This Is the Moment.” Written by Lisa and her songwriting, Mark Matson, both songs are available on major digital outlets including, iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

Among those students feted for their outstanding performances was Tullahoma High School's William Kuebitz, a top three finalist for his performance as Bert in Mary Poppins. Performing 'Step in Time' from the show, William gained a thunderous ovation from his fellow actors and other supporters in the audience that night, which was the culmination of his high school career.

Multi-talented 16-year-old singer/actor, Oliver Richman (www.oliverrichman.com), is the first to record and release his grandfather's poignant song entitled, “Will I Still Be Me.”

Directed by Heidi Freeland-Trail, performances are scheduled for March 2-5 and March 9-12 at the theatre on Maple Street and Theatre Drive in Lebanon.

Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre continues its holiday offerings with what has become a Kelsey tradition, The Kelsey Players present 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' Today, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 and 4 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for seniors, students and children. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
