BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that five-time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Rick Steiner passed away last week, November 3, in Cincinnati. He was 69.

The revival of FALSETTOS began rehearsals yesterday afternoon. President of Jujamcyn Theaters, Jordan Roth, captured a candid moment depicting the smiling faces of some of the revival's most notable names, including Andrew Rannells, Christian Borle, Stephanie J. Block and Tracie Thoms, smiling and ready to tell a million stories.

The Public Theater and International Rescue Committee announced today that a special free one-night-only Public Forum event, WELCOME HOME: A CELEBRATION OF WORLD REFUGEE DAY, will take place on Monday, June 20 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Free Public Forum tickets will be distributed, two per person (age 5+), at the Delacorte Theater beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Forum.

            Lincoln Center Theater, in association with Jujamcyn Theaters, has announced that Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, and Andrew Rannells will head the cast of its new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS.  FALSETTOS  begins previews Thursday, September 29, and opens on Thursday, October 27 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street).

This fall, Lincoln Center Theater will join forces with Jujamcyn Theaters to bring William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos back to Broadway, it was announced today. Falsettos will begin previews Thursday, September 29 and open on Thursday, October 27 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street). Lapine will return to helm the production.

Ringling College of Art and Design president Dr. Larry R. Thompson and Wendy G. Surkis, president of the Sarasota Museum of Art/SMOA, a division of Ringling College, today announced that Anne-Marie Russell, Executive Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tucson (MOCA), has accepted the position of Executive Director for the Sarasota Museum of Art (SMOA).
