THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a day-of-show drawing for the Second National Tour, which returns to Chicago by popular demand for a limited engagement February 25 through May 17, 2015 at Broadway In Chicago's Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe). The production will conduct a pre-show drawing at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 each. THE BOOK OF MORMON holds the record for the largest weekly gross in the history of the Bank of America Theatre and played to over 100% capacity during its 2012-2013 engagement.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking one-week run at Shea's Buffalo Theatre in 2013 returns for a limited engagement June 2 - 7 for eight performances at Shea's Buffalo Theatre. Single tickets (starting at $38) will go on sale Thursday, February 26, at 10 a.m.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, the movie musical's Oscar-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez met with the film's writer and co-director Jennifer Lee, head of Disney Theatricals Thomas Schumacher, and Broadway and West End director Alex Timbers to discuss their options. Lee is writing the book with guidance from the Lopezes, who have also written 'a couple' of new songs for the show.
