THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME Cast Recording Tops Billboard's Albums Chart

The highly anticipated Studio Cast Recording of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, debuted in the top spot on Billboard's Cast Albums chart. The album, available from Ghostlight Records, is also the 14th bestselling current album overall for the week and number 47 on the Billboard Top 200.  Digitally, the recording soared to number 5 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in its first day and was number 9 on Billboard's Current Digital Albums chart for its first week.

Cort Theatre Box Office for BRIGHT STAR on Broadway Now Open

The box office officially opened today for the Broadway premiere of the new musical Bright Star from Grammy and Emmy winner Steve Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell, directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie. BroadwayWorld has confirmed complete casting for Broadway's TUCK EVERLASTING, the new musical based on Natalie Babbitt's beloved best-selling novel of the same name. The first ever Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will play its 100th performance on Broadway on Saturday, December 19th at 8pm.  In celebration of the critically acclaimed musical comedy set in 1933, tickets for the Saturday, December 19th 8pm performance will be $19.33.  You can purchase the specially priced $19.33 tickets only at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office on Saturday, December 19th from 10am till 8pm for that evening's performance.  Customers may purchase up to 8 tickets per person and should reference the code Dames 1933 or 100th Performance.

Carmen Cusack will make her Broadway debut as Alice, a role she originated in BRIGHT STAR's world premiere production, and will be joined by co-stars Paul Alexander Nolan, Tony Award nominee Michael Mulheren, A.J.
