Three-time Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY® winner (as well as 2006 Latin Person of the Year) Ricky Martin will appear in a special presentation to three-time Latin GRAMMY and nine-time GRAMMY winner and the 2010 Latin Person of the Year Plácido Domingo at the 11th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards (www.latingrammy.com) telecast, it was announced today by The Latin Recording Academy®.

Well today, Dear Readers was one helluva day! A group of spectacular shows and aside from a few interesting conversations I had with true New Yorkers on the bus, not a lot of time for anything else but shows since I was seeing three of them. So let's dive right in shall we?

Music star Benise and his Emmy-Award winning Nights of Fire cast return to Jacksonville and the Times Union Center's Moran Theater with The Spanish Guitar on Wednesday, November 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

Benise's new show will feature his guitar as protagonist, as it becomes the keeper of the stories of glory and tragedy through times and world's gone by. The College-Conservatory of Music CCM Musical Theatre department kicks off its Mainstage Season with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera Evita. This vivacious show runs from November 17 preview through November 21 in CCM's Corbett Auditorium on the University of Cincinnati campus.

Chris Isaacson in association with UPRIGHT CABARET announced the world premiere of Jennifer Leigh Warren starring in 'LITTLE WOMAN/BIG VOICE: The Songs of Dame Shirley Bassey,' which will make its Los Angeles debut in Spring 2011. Broadway bound Ricky Martin is set to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show on November 2. In the interview, the latin superstar will discuss his take on coming out as a gay man and becoming a single father of twins. Coinciding with a PBS special and following a critically acclaimed performance on "Dancing with the Stars," Benise brings his live stage production of The Spanish Guitar to the Palace Theatre.

DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America today announced that they have partnered to launch 'Madagascar Live,' DreamWorks Theatricals' first-ever live family touring show. The production is expected to visit over 70 cities across the United States beginning in January 2011, including a stop at Detroit's Fox Theatre from Friday, April 29 through Sunday, May 1. The brand new stage show aimed at family audiences stars the cast of popular characters from the beloved Madagascar film series, including Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo and members of the madcap Madagascar crew, King Julien and the crafty Penguins.
