World Premieres Highlight Factory 449's 'Season 2'

Factory 449: a theatre collective, coming off the success of its award-winning 4.48 Psychosis, is excited to announce the lineup of plays for Season 2 (2010-11). Featured are World Premieres by Erik Ehn (Wolf at the Door) and Caridad Svich (Iphigenia Crash Land Falls on the Neon Shell That Was Once Her Heart). In addition, Factory 449 will produce its 2nd Annual Factory Made: a reading series and the DC Premiere of Alberto Pedro's Mar Nuestro, translated by Caridad Svich.

Jeffrey Johnson will bring his Little Edie to Joe's Pub on December 29th. His revival of his 1978 performance of 'Edith Beale Live at Reno Sweeney' will perform in AFTER THE GARDEN. Written by Gerald Duval, Edie Beale's manager for the Reno Sweeney event, After the Garden brings back to life those 7 nights in 1978 that only a handful of people had the opportunity to see.

Factory 449: a theatre collective debuts with its inaugural production of 4.48 PSYCHOSIS by Sarah Kane, author of Crave and Blasted. The production, a remount of Factory 449's award-winning workshop production staged as part of the 2009 Capital Fringe Festival, was recognized as "Best Drama" & "Best Overall Production" by the Festival and "Favorite Festival Play" by DC Theatre Scene. Directed by John Moletress and produced by Rick Hammerly, the cast features Factory 449 company members Sara Barker, Lisa Hodsoll and Brian Hemmingsen.
