Last week, Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly the Orange County Performing Arts Center) announced its brand new Broadway Series for the 2012 - 2013 Season. For it's BROADWAY SERIES, the Center will host touring companies of MEMPHIS, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, WAR HORSE, BILLY ELLIOT, FLASHDANCE and SISTER ACT, plus 'Curtain Call Series' shows WICKED, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, and ANYTHING GOES.

Peter and the Starcatcher, a new play by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), directed by Tony® Award-winner Roger Rees (Nicholas Nickleby) and Tony® Award-nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Pee-wee Herman Show), has an official opening night set for Sunday, April 15, 2012 at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre. New York Theatre Workshop's AN ILIAD Opens 3/6 & 7

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that the New York premiere of An Iliad, by Denis O'Hare and Lisa Peterson, based on Homer's Iliad translated by Robert Fagles, directed by Ms. Peterson, will open this week at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Denis O'Hare and Stephen Spinella alternate performances of the play. Mr. O'Hare opens Tuesday, March 6; Mr. Spinella Wednesday, March 7.

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, a new play by Tony® Award-nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), just announced that the cast of the acclaimed Off-Broadway production will reunite for the show's Broadway Premiere. Christian Borle, a Lucille Lortel winner last year for his performance (and star of NBC's "Smash"), will return as 'Black Stache'; Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal), who recently departed the Off Broadway production of Rent, returns as 'Boy'; and Drama Desk Award-winner Celia Keenan-Bolger (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) will reprise her role as 'Molly,' the titular Starcatcher. THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Providence premiere Tuesday, March 20 and will run through Sunday, March 25 at the Providence Performing Arts Center as part of the 2011/2012 Broadway Series. Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills and Sara Gettelfinger will star as Gomez and Morticia in a principal cast that also includes Tony Award nominee Martin Vidnovic as Mal Beineke, two-time Tony Award nominee Crista Moore as Alice Beineke, Blake Hammond as Uncle Fester, Pippa Pearthree as Grandma, Tom Corbeil as Lurch, Patrick D. Dates have been announced for the Atlanta return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Atlanta to play the Fox Theatre May 22 through June 10 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2011-12 season.
