The Grand Theatre will present "La Cage Aux Folles" May 8-25, 2013. First opening in 1983 to wide critical acclaim, "La Cage" has become a staple of American Musical Theatre. The musical won six Tony Awards, including Best Music, Best Score, and Best Book for Harvey Fierstein. The Grand cast, directed Brent Schneider, includes Kenny Wayne Parrish, Dave Hanson, Angela Avila, and Jay C Stoddard.

The Grand Theatre will present a Grand Discussion between Mark Fossen, director, and Richard Scott, actor, on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 3pm. The event will take place at the Barnes and Noble at the corner of 1100 East and 2100 South in Sugarhouse. Topics for the discussion will touch on themes from the upcoming performance of Death of a Salesmanat The Grand Theatre. The event is free and open to the public - community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.

Scott Alan will record his fourth album 'LIVE' at famed New York City Jazz Club, Birdland on April 30th. Newly added to the roaster of performers is Award Winning Jazz Vocalist Jane Monheit, Broadway and Reality Television Star Laura Osnes and West End performer Richard Fleeshman, who will make his Broadway debut as Sam Wheat in the musical adaptation of Ghost after creating the role in the West End production.
