Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of THE OTHER PLACE, the new play by Sharr White, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, has been extended by one week due to popular demand. Tickets to the limited engagement, which opened to critical acclaim last week at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) are now on sale through Sunday, March 3.

Target's Bull's-eye is coming to the Great White Way!
Target's beauty partners Sonia Kashuk and Umberto Savone have teamed up with the upcoming play "Truman Capote's 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'" to create the makeup and hair for the main character, Holly Golightly. Holly Golightly was first made famous by the beautiful Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film. In this Richard Greenberg play, Golightly will be played by Game of Thrones actress Emilia Carke.

Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), just celebrated its 100th Anniversary yesterday, December 20th. The theatre, which opened on December 20, 1912 with a Peg O'My Heart starring Laurette Taylor, is currently home to the Broadway Premiere of Grace, which will end its limited engagement on January 6, 2013. It will next be home to the World Premiere production of Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, a new play written by Richard Greenberg, which starts performances on Monday, March 4 and opens on Wednesday, March 20. The Cort Theatre is owned and operated by The Shubert Organization.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim has announced its spring 2013 season. Since 1984, the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading creators and performers. Each intimate, 80-minute performance uniquely combines artistic creation and stimulating conversation and takes place in the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed, 285-seat Peter B. Lewis Theater, where new reserved seating is now offered. A reception for the audience and artists follows most programs. Described by the New York Times as "a popular series devoted to shedding light on the creative process," Works & Process is produced by founder Mary Sharp Cronson. Six-time Emmy Award-nominee George Wendt ('Norm' in "Cheers") has joined the cast of the world premiere of Tony Award winning playwright Richard Greenberg's new play, Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, in the role of 'Joe Bell' it was announced today. As previously announced, this new stage adaption of Capote's classic novella, directed by Sean Mathias, will also star Emilia Clarke (HBO's "Game of Thrones") as 'Holly Golightly' and Cory Michael Smith as 'Fred' and will begin performances at Broadway's Cort Theatre on Monday, March 4. Opening night is set for Wednesday, March 20.

Cory Michael Smith (The Whale, Cock) will star as the 'Fred' to Emilia Clarke's (HBO's "Game of Thrones") 'Holly Golightly' in the world premiere of Tony Award winning playwright Richard Greenberg's new play, Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, it was announced today. It was also announced that this new stage adaption of Capote's classic novella, directed by Sean Mathias, will begin performances at Broadway's Cort Theatre on Monday, March 4 and officially open on Wednesday, March 20.
