Actress Kim Cattrall wants to return to Broadway in a new revival of Noel Howard's Private Lives.

The legendary Richard M. Sherman and his wife Elizabeth recently took in a performance of MARY POPPINS on Tuesday, May 18. Following the show, they toasted the Broadway company and visited with star Laura Michelle Kelly backstage at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

The Tampa, Fla., premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Friday, May 21, at 8 p.m. at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, June 6. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday- Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Great seats are still available at each performance.

Richard Eyre, the renowned British director of theater and film, explores the passionate drama of Bizet's Carmen and the power of her desires in his new production at the Metropolitan Opera, which premieres on THIRTEEN'S Great Performances at the Met series. 'Her sexuality is a life force, it's a defining force,' he explains.

Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall will appear in a Liverpool run of Antony and Cleopatra. She will play Cleopatra opposite Jeffery Kissoon in the Everyman Theater production, which will feature direction by Janet Suzman. Perormances will begin October 8 and run through November 13.

Alban Berg's modernist masterpiece Lulu returns to the Met, starring Marlis Petersen as the scandalous femme fatale and conducted by the Met's newly appointed Principal Guest Conductor Fabio Luisi.

Kate Aldrich will sing the title role of Carmen on April 28 and May 1, replacing Angela Gheorghiu who has withdrawn from those performances. Gheorghiu issued the following statement: 'To make so important a debut as Carmen, I want to be as prepared dramatically as I am musically. Therefore, I will postpone my role debut until a later date when I can work intensely with the Richard Eyre production.'

Noel Coward's Private Lives comes to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre for a ten week season from February 24 2010, following a two week run at the Theatre Royal Bath (February 10 - 20). Starring Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfadyen, and directed by Richard Eyre, Private Lives remains one of Coward's most sophisticated comedy of manners.

Dwayne Croft will make his Met role debut as Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen on Saturday, May 1 at 8:30 p.m., replacing Mariusz Kwiecien, who is ill.
