The School of Visual Arts has several continuous art exhibitions for the month of June. The exhibitions are being held at the four galleries around town. Also, the 'Media The Matter Film Festival' is being held on Wednesday, June 2nd. All galleries will be closed for the Independence Day holiday weekend from Friday, July 2, 1pm through Monday, July 5.

A panel discussion on the theatre and film works of Tennessee Williams will feature actors Ellen Burstyn, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jodie Markell, Elaine Stritch, and Eli Wallach. Burstyn and Howard are set to star in the newly discovered 'The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond' screenplay by Williams. The film is directed by Markell.
