Broadway's Daniel Curry, appearing for the first time since his injury during a performance SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK this August -- when his leg was pinned by a piece of equipment backstage -- thanked friends, family and colleagues tonight, October 21, at the 'Web of Love' fundraiser hosted in his honor at the Nuyorican Poet's Cafe in New York City.

On Friday, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark's Justin Matthew Sargent, Rebecca Faulkenberry and Christina DeCicco visited the American Airlines Terminal 8 at JFK Airport to perform "Rise Above," "If The World Should End," and "Boy Falls From The Sky." Check out photos from the special event below!

Broadway rocker Justin Matthew Sargent, best known for his star turn as 'Drew' in Broadway's Rock of Ages, has landed the coveted role of Peter Parker / Spider-Man role in Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Sargent will play evening performances at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) beginning tonight, September 16. Reeve Carney, the original lead Peter Parker, played his final performance last night in order to begin shooting for the new Showtime series Penny Dreadful. Last night, August 29, the latest Medal of Honor recipient, Staff Sergeant Ty Carter, attended Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark. This past Monday, Carter was honored by President Obama this past Monday for rescuing a fellow soldier in Afghanistan. At the end of the performance, Bob Cuccioli (Green Goblin) gave a curtain call speech honoring Carter, and then welcomed him back stage for a meet and greet with cast members Rebecca Faulkenberry and Reeve Carney. Last night, a slew of Broadway favorites took part in Twenty-Somethings at The Highline Ballroom, featuring music by up-and-coming songwriters Blake Pfeil, Zoe Sarnak and Drew Overcash. Yesterday afternoon, the cast of SPIDER-MAN TURN OFF THE DARK headlined the Brooklyn Public Library's Summer Reading Kickoff event. DAt teh event, Reeve Carney and Rebecca Faulkenberry performed “If The World Should End,' followed by “Rise Above” with Jennifer Sanchez. The day also featured Spidey face-painting, coloring, and temporary tattoos. Check out a look at the performances below!
