Austin-based, chart-topping psych-rock prodigy Ty Richards is thrilled to announce the premiere of his latest single, 'Red Pill,' off of his upcoming album, 'Welcome to Flat Earth,' with Paste Magazine.The premiere can be found here. The track is available for purchase here and everywhere else digital music is sold. There will be an official 'Welcome to Flat Earth' Album Release Show & Underground Art Experience presented by Tremolo Records on Friday, April 20 in correlation with the weekend of Earth Day. The release show will be held at Mosaic Sound Collective, a former juvenile delinquent facility located at 6400 FM 969, Austin, Texas 78724. Doors are at 8 p.m. with support from The Cuckoos and James Cooke (fellow artist on Tremolo Records).

Singer-songwriter/guitarist Brooke Annibale announced today the release of her new single 'Hold On' off her third full-length album Hold To The Light. Set to release on June 8th, Hold To The Light marks Annibale's return following her 2015 critically acclaimed album The Simple Fear and features several major departures in terms of both songwriting and production. Annibale sheds a bit of her indie-acoustic skin and introduces a new pop-progressive direction offering a fusion of textured electronic and traditional instrumentation centered around Brooke's stunning voice and keen, soulful lyricism. Grammy Award winner Ray LaMontagne is set to release his seventh studio album, Part Of The Light on May 18th via RCA Records.  The album was written and produced by Ray LaMontagne and will feature the first single, “Such A Simple Thing.” Fans that pre-order the album through Ray's website will be able to stream a live version of the song before its release.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.
