Meet hard-working salesman Willy Loman as he chases the American Dream in Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize winning tragedy, Death of a Salesman. Stacy Keach and Jane Kaczmarek head the cast when Academy Award-winning filmmaker Eric Simonson directs one of the most important dramas of all time for L.A. Theatre Works. Five performances will be recorded March 16-20 at the Skirball Cultural Center for future radio broadcast; L.A. L.A. Until fate strikes a devastating blow, leaving Walter with no reason to put the pieces of his life back together. He resists attempts to help, especially the unexpected - and unwanted - offer from a Vietnamese refugee named Bao Ngo, who bears his own sadness. Then, across a cultural divide, Walter and Bao find a game to share, a song, a meal and then a way back in this uplifting - and surprisingly funny - new play by a rising star in American theatre.

South Coast Repertory will present the world premiere of The Happy Ones, the story of an Orange County man who must rediscover his optimism in the wake of tragedy, on the Julianne Argyros Stage Sept. 27 - Oct. 18.

Theatre Out, Orange County's Gay and Lesbian Theatre presents two concurrent productions: 'TWILIGHT OF THE GOLDS' and 'TRES GAY' through August 8, 2009.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, in association with HJS Productions, will present the New York premiere of Little Egypt, a new musical with book by Lynn Siefert, with music and lyrics by Gregg Lee Henry, directed by Lisa James, as part of the 4th Annual NY Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Performances will run September 27 through October 5 only.
