Ghostlight Records in association with White Sand Entertainment and Ken Denison, Executive Producer, will release the cast recording of the acclaimed Off-Broadway musical GOOD OL' GIRLS on Tuesday, August 31st. Produced by Keith Levenson, the CD features the original cast, which includes Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot), Sally Mayes (She Loves Me), Teri Ralston (Company), Gina Stewart (Dawson's Creek) and Liza Vann (Machiavelli), with music by Nashville hit-makers Marshall Chapman (Jimmy Buffett, Wynonna, Olivia Newton-John) and Matraca Berg (Reba McEntire, Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill). The new CD will be available at Amazon, iTunes, Sh-K-Boom (link) and wherever music is sold.

ACCIDENTALLY, LIKE A MARTYR takes place in a gay bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where a group of men from different backgrounds and generations talk, joke and drink their way through a slow and lonely winter evening. Old secrets are revealed and old wounds re-opened in a serio-comic play inspired and influenced by Mart Crowley's 'The Boys in the Band' and Tennessee Williams's 'Small Craft Warnings.'

The production will feature Tony Award nominee Felicia P. Fields (The Color Purple) in her first role in Chicago since The Color Purple and two-time Jeff Award-winner Mississippi Charles Bevel. The production will be directed by Randal Myler with musical direction by Dan Wheetman. Low Down Dirty Blues runs May 27 - July 3, 2010 at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie. The press opening is Saturday, June 5, 2010.

TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, had great cause to celebrate this week, from eight 2010 Tony® Award nominations and seven 2010 Drama Desk Award nominations for the TheatreWorks-born Broadway hit MEMPHIS to capturing top honors in the Bay Area Theatre Critic's Circle Awards. The week began with TheatreWorks accepting seven Bay Area Theatre Critic's Circle Awards, putting them on top for the most awards garnered in the musicals category.
