Les Misérables, the musical adaption Victor Hugo's famous tale of Jean Valjean breaking parole during France's June Rebellion, will take stage February 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. at UNLV's Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, and will feature and onstage orchestra and choir with the cast. The performance is a fundraiser for UNLV's Performing Arts Center and School of the Arts in addition to Golden Rainbow, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and financial assistance to those with HIV and AIDS living in Southern Nevada. The debut of 'The Phat Pack' to Las Vegas this month signified a wonderful gift to the city.

Vegas' newest headlining show, THE PHAT PACK will donate a portion of their ticket proceeds to Easter Seals Nevada, the nonprofit that serves more than 7,000 Nevadans living with disabilities every year beginning November 29-January 29. Following the show at The Plaza Hotel & Casino, guests are encouraged to write "Easter Seals" on the back of their ticket stub and leave it in the donation box at THE PHAT PACK Merchandise Table.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center's Museum of Tolerance, played host, on Sunday, April 22nd, to an evening of theatre, music and celebrity readings, that raised thousands in emergency funds to be sent to remaining Holocaust Survivors. An evening written by TV comedy director, Zane Buzby, and produced by Conan Berkley, Zane Buzby and Frances Fisher, used true stories of Holocaust Survivors, in the own words, that were read by such noted artists as Ed Asner, Frances Fisher, Elliott Gould, Valerie Harper, Lainie Kazan, Randal Keith, Arnold McCuller, Alan Rosenberg and Brenda Russell. Additional readings were given by Rabbi Moshe J. Kushman and Consul General of Israel, David Siegel. See photos from the event below!

As the Arvada Center closes the 2008/2009 season on a financial high note, and it's anticipating that the upcoming season will be even more impressive. 'We recognize there are economic issues out there for our audiences,' states Executive Director Gene Sobczak.

The Arvada Center's 2009/2010 theater season includes four Broadway musicals, a regional premiere and a classic, and offers a variety of subscription packages; the 6-show, 'see-it-all' subscription, a 4-Musical subscription and the create-your-own flex subscription. Several new, patron-friendly initiatives are also introduced for next season

The long arm of the sword will come to an end on Sunday July 13 when the award-winning 'Monty Python's SPAMALOT' ends its historic run at Wynn Las Vegas. SPAMALOT began its reign in the desert on March 31, 2007 and tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail. SPAMALOT features silly songs, dancing divas, knights in tights, feisty Frenchmen and a happy ending! It will have played 509 performances.
