MadLabMadLab and Shepherd Productions will present The Empire Builders by Boris Vian. Written in 1957, this classic work seems to have been lost to history. With only a couple dozen productions done in the United States since it was written, MadLab and Shepherd are proud to co-produce this unknown piece. Empire Builders will be performed, at 8:00, Thursdays-Saturdays, June 13-15 and June 20-22 at MadLab, 227 N. 3rd St. Columbus. Tickets cost $15, $12 Students/Seniors, $10 MadLab Members. Tony Awards Set for Broadcast on CBS Through 2018!

CBS announced today a new broadcast agreement with The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing that will keep the annual TONY Awards broadcast on the CBS Television Network through 2018. The awards show, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been a part of the CBS family for the past 35 years.

COPS AND FRIENDS OF COPS will preview tonight, April 24 & Thursday, April 25 at 8pm and will open on Friday, April 26 at 8pm and run through Saturday, June 1 at the new home of VS. Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will produce the world-premiere of the musical THE LANDING this fall, with music by the Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, kicking off the company's 2013-14 season, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, The Vineyard's Artistic Director, and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.

Bravo Media unveiled its largest slate of original programming-to-date with 17 new and 18 returning unscripted series, marking a 15 percent increase over last year, and announced three new scripted projects in development. Additionally, Bravo ranks #9 in the highly desired A18-49 demo and in A25-54, up 5 percent and 7 percent respectively, and up 8 percent in total viewers year-to-date, according to Nielsen.
