The show runs Tuesday, May 4 through Sunday, May 9, 2010 for eight performances only. XANADU, described as 'Heaven on Wheels' by The New York Times, is based on the Universal Pictures' cult classic movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly. XANADU was nominated for the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical.

Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH is directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews began on January 26 and the show officially opened last night, February 22 and BroadwayWorld was there!
