Amadeus runs September 15 through 30. Nat Zegree, Jerry Lee Lewis from last year's smash hitMillion Dollar Quartet, returns to Flat Rock Playhouse to star as one of the original bad boys of popular music... Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2017 season continues with the stage play turned cult-classic film, Amadeus. This larger-than-life production stars Nat Zegree (Jerry Lee Lewis of last year's hit Million Dollar Quartet) as one of the original bad boys of popular music, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Amadeus runs September 15th through the 30th at the Clyde and Nina Allen Mainstage in the Village of Flat Rock, NC.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2017 season will continue with one of its most beloved musicals, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  This mega-musical of Biblical proportions follows the story of Joseph, whose coat of many colors sparks the envy of his brothers and leads him on the journey to greatness.

It might be May, but Flat Rock Playhouse says it's time to pull out the tinsel, hang the mistletoe, and head South for the holidays!  The second of the extremely popular "Greater Tuna" series, a collection of comedic plays set in the fictional town of Tuna (the 3rd smallest town in Texas), A Tuna Christmas will return to the Playhouse Main Stage starring the hilarious Scott Treadway and his (or her) equally hilarious counterpart, Preston Dyar. Though seemingly a two-man show, there will be no lack of characters as these two gentlemen, who have separately been a part of several productions of the Tuna Series, will introduce audiences to over twenty of the town's most colorful characters together for the very FIRST time.  A Tuna Christmas will run on the Main Stage in the Village of Flat Rock from May 19th through June 3rd.

The Flat Rock Playhouse presents the Pulitzer prize and Tony Award winning play The Diary of Anne Frank, written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman. Flat Rock Playhouse will continue its 2016 season with The Affections of May, running May 26th through June 4th on the mainstage in Flat Rock. Norm Foster's most widely produced romantic comedy, The Affections of May is a heartwarming play which centers on May Henning, the owner of a bed and breakfast in a small resort town. When her husband leaves her, she amusingly and adorably finds herself quite the center of attention and entangled in a hilarious romantic triangle.
