Lincoln Center today announced its annual Out of Doors season of free music and dance, invigorating Damrosch Park and the Lincoln Center campus from July 24 to August 12. One of the country's longest-running free outdoor festivals, now in its 48th edition, Out of Doors intertwines diverse social and cultural dialogues with multi-genre music programming, family events, dance, and spoken word by artists from New York City, across the United States, and beyond in this year's lineup.

Featuring West Coast Swing with an East Coast vibe, the Octet includes Mark White (guitar), Scott deOgburn (piano), Jon Garniss (trombone), Kenny Hadley (drums), Rick Hammet (trumpet), Arnie Krakowsky (tenor sax), Mark Poniatowski (bass) and Ken Reid (bari sax), world-class musicians whose performance r sum s include a long list of music royalty. Following the rapid sell out of both their Thursday, September 21 and Friday, September 22 shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have confirmed a third night at the historic venue on Monday, September 25. Wilco has announced an early summer tour in the lead up to the band's own Solid Sound Festival, which takes place at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA on June 23-25. Newly announced dates include concerts in Rochester Hills, MI, Pittsburgh, Louisville, KY, Indianapolis, Rockford, IL and Milwaukee. The band also headlines Eaux Claires on June 17. Tickets for upcoming shows are on sale Friday via wilcoworld.net. Three-day passes for Wilco's Solid Sound Festival are also available now via solidsoundfestival.com.
