Netflix will premiere 'Derek,' an original series starring, written, directed and executive-produced by Emmy and Golden Globe winner Ricky Gervais on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 12:01 AM PT. All seven 30-minute episodes in the series will be available at launch.

Surflight Theatre, under the leadership of Executive Director Ken Myers presents Fred Grandy (TV's The Love Boat) and Christian Pedersen in Anthony Shaffer's Tony Award-winning thriller Sleuth, as part of the theater's 64th Season from May 8 through 18.

Kimiye Corwin and Anderson Matthews will headline Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' production of 'Twelfth Night' May 24 through June 16 at Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park. Both Corwin and Matthews were last seen in SFSTL's production of 'Hamlet' as Ophelia and Polonius, respectively, in 2010. Preview performances are scheduled for May 22-23. Dale Olson, One of the entertainment industry's greatest Publicists passed away this morning, August 9, 2012, at the Burbank Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with cancer. He was 78.

The Banff World Media Festival today announced that Chuck Lorre - the award-winning television creator, writer and producer known for such hit comedy series such as 'Two and a Half Men,' 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'Mike & Molly' - will receive the 2012 Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award on Tuesday, June 12.
