The Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival (Artistic Director Robert Lyons) has announced hosts and guest artists for "Fridays on Ice," its late-night performance salon that includes a diverse and distinctive lineup of writer/performers creating work not usually seen in downtown theatre spaces, but more typically found performing in nightclubs, bars, and private apartments.

Unemployed Eric Swann, has duped the British welfare system for years by claiming every type of benefit for the numerous imaginary tenants "living" in his apartment building. He's sent scrambling when welfare investigators show up and he is forced to prove all of his boarders are in fact real. A bright comedy full of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and a con that spirals hilariously out of control.

The six high school semi-finalists for REVUE 2016 were recently announced on the live television series of the same title that has been screening on KykNET NOU! since October. The semi-finalists are Dr EG Jansen High School, Hans Moore High School, HTS Drostdy, Jeugland High School, Kempton Park High School and Marais Viljoen High School.
