Alfie Boe to Succeed Tony Nominee Ramin Karimloo in Broadway's LES MISERABLES

Internationally-renowned performer Alfie Boe will return to Broadway to star as 'Jean Valjean' in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Boe begins performances in Les Miserables Tuesday, September 1. Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo will give his final performance as Valjean on Sunday, August 30. Boe made his Broadway debut as Rodolfo in Baz Luhrmann's acclaimed production La Boheme, for which he and his co-stars received a special Tony Award in 2003 for their performances.

The Aquila Theatre Company is proud to announce the launch of it's new You|Stories program with a staged reading of 'A Female Philoctetes' (based on Sophocles' classic 'Philoctetes',) running at BAM Fisher's Hillman Studio from today, April 16 to April 19, with performances at 7 pm. You|Stories in an innovative national program, funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, that uses arts and humanities to explore the ancient and modern narratives of war.

Following Collection 1-Fillmore East, Collection 2 Aquarian Theatre and Collection 3-Everything's Not Okay comes Collection 4-Woodstock. This new offering features interviews with Ravi Shankar, Joe Cocker, Woodstock producers John Roberts and Joel Rosenman, Sly Stone, John Lennon and Yoko Ono from their Bed-In, live Reports from the Woodstock festival and commentary on the Woodstock film.
