Broadway's cuddliest cast kicks off a new year with the 14th edition of THE BROADWAY BEARS auction on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill (237 West 42 Street), produced by and benefitting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) by special arrangement with Susan Dietz and Tara Smith, announced a one week extension of the new musical DANGEROUS BEAUTY by Jeannine Dominy (book and verse), Michele Brourman (music) and Amanda McBroom (lyrics).

Three decades after his first HBO special, Paul Reubens returns to the network in an exclusive presentation of his hit Broadway show. The Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will close on February 13. The production is directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Wendy Seyb.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the second time this season to decide the eligibility of six Broadway productions for the 2011 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Producers Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment have announced that Tony Award-winner Victoria Clark will co-star as Mother Superior in the new Broadway musical, SISTER ACT, beginning preview performances on March 24, 2011 and opening on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Family Week is January 19 to January 23 and during this period children's tickets are half off the regular price (certain restrictions apply). Film and television icon Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) brought his signature brand of hilarious mayhem to Broadway for a special limited engagement of the acclaimed stage play, The Pee-Wee Herman Show. The show was filmed Jan. 6 for a HBO Special to air later this year. As reported by zap2it.com, Reubens, who spoke via satellite from New York at the Television Critics Association press tour, told press there's been a lot of interest in a television return for 'Pee-Wee.'
