REELZ Announces Premiere Dates for 2013 Programming

TV About Movies today announced the spring premieres for returning series and two new miniseries. Starting in March, massive volcanoes rock the Earth in the four-hour miniseries Ring of Fire (March 11, 12) starring Emmy Award winner Terry O'Quinn (Lost).

Principal photography has begun on three new epic four-hour mini-series events for television. The three, RING OF FIRE, Eve of Destruction and Delete, have all begun production in Vancouver. Ring of Fire and Eve of Destruction are from Reunion Pictures.

New York City Center has just reopened following a historic renovation and modernization with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and star-studded gala last night, October 25 at New York City Center. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg conducted The Encores! Orchestra in the opening number (as a nod to Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, who conducted the New York Philharmonic when City Center opened as a performing arts center in 1943).

The Cornelia Street Cafe is taking the opportunity of the last Artists Salon of the season on Thursday, June 3 at 6:00 PM to bid the fondest of farewells to Poul Weis who has been the music curator for the last six years and to David Devoe who has curated the GNU VOX vocal series for almost as long. Guitarist Tom Chang will be taking over music direction at the cafe.
