Tina Benko stars in Jackie, the North American premiere of the play by Nobel Prize winning Austrian Elfriede Jelinek, best known in the United States for her novel The Piano Teacher and the 2001 film based on it. Directed by Tea Alagic from the English translation by Gitta Honegger, Jackie opens tonight, March 5, at 7:30pm at Women's Project Theater's new home, New York City Center Stage II, 131 West 55th Street.

It was announced yesterday that ABC News is being honored by the Alliance for Women in Media (AWRT) with five Gracie Awards in the categories of "Individual Achievement - Anchor," "Individual Achievement - Reporter/Correspondent," "News/Non-Fiction Producer," "Outstanding Investigative Program" and "Hard News Feature."

Denver Comic Con has announced that Guest of Honor Stan Lee will also be joined by fan favorite Wil Wheaton and some of his fellow cast members, Robin Thorsen and Sandeep Parikh, from the highly successful internet sensation, The Guild. Also included in the preliminary guest announcements are voice and sci-fi actress, Kelly Hu known best for her work in X-Men X-2, and Peter Mayhew from the original Star Wars trilogy. The three-day event will feature a legion of celebrated comic book artists including Phil Jimenez, Paul Ryan, Herb Trimpe, Georges Jeanty, Rebekah Isaacs, Allen Bellman, Moritat, and Zombie King Arthur Suydam.
