According to published reports, Ben Stiller is working with David Zimmer to createa special benefit auction entitled Artists for Haiti. The event will be held at Christie's on September 22. Proceeds will be donated to Architecture for Humanity, J/P Haitian Relief Organization, Partners in Health and Grameen Creative Lab.
David Zwirner Announces Preparation of the Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings

David Zwirner is pleased to announce the preparation of a catalogue raisonné of paintings by Luc Tuymans, which the gallery will oversee in collaboration with Studio Luc Tuymans, with additional research support from Zeno X Gallery, Antwerp. Compiled and edited by art historian Eva Meyer-Hermann, the catalogue raisonné will illustrate and document approximately 500 paintings by the artist from 1975 to the present day.

REDCAT Welcomes Dutch Theatre Ensemble, 11/17-20

There is no way to know exactly what will happen this November when the daring Dutch theater ensemble Wunderbaum premieres a new theatrical event developed through collaborative conversations with Los Angeles artists during a three-week REDCAT residency. Following the residency, Wunderbaum's Looking for Paul will receive its world premiere at REDCAT with performances beginning on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 and running through Saturday, November 20, 2010.

Stew of 'Passing Strange' Guest DJ on WNYC Radio 12/14

Stew - whose new musical Passing Strange will begin performances on Broadway Feb. 8, 2008 at the Belasco Theatre - is one of five special guest hosts who will divulge the music they just cannot live without during WNYC Radio's annual weeklong 'Must Have Festival' December 10 to 14. Stew's evening of 'Must Have' music will conclude the weeklong Festival, broadcasting on December 14 at 7PM.
