Today in 1975, Private Lives opened at the 46th Street Theatre (now the Richard Rogers Theatre), where it ran for 92 performances. Private Lives is a 1930 comedy of manners in three acts by Noel Coward. It focuses on a divorced couple who discover that they are honeymooning with their new spouses in neighbouring rooms at the same hotel. Despite a perpetually stormy relationship, they realise that they still have feelings for each other. Its second act love scene was nearly censored in Britain as too risque. Coward wrote one of his most popular songs, 'Some Day I'll Find You', for the play.

What she discovers about her birth parents however, does nothing to put her fears about her own pregnancy to rest. Well Born explores the themes of otherness, new motherhood, and preconceived notions associated with Down syndrome through a deeply personal and, at times, darkly comic lens.

An expression or appearance of merriment or amusement you will experience when you come to see The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (presented in One Act) at The Farmington Players Barn. Six awkward spelling champions compete for the top prize only to learn there is more to life than winning or losing the contest. The show opens Today December 4th and runs through Sunday, December 20th. In the spirit of Opening Night, the pre-show party will include a middle school cafeteria theme.
