Neo Ensemble Theatre has been busy! When new Artistic Director Paul Elliott took over, he wanted to increase the talent pool of both writers and actors. Through a series of showcases, workshops, festivals and just general recruiting the highly revered company has done just that. And what better way to highlight all that new talent than with a new original show that features 24 actors, eight writers and two directors…all working together in one all-encompassing show.

Producers Karl Sydow and Paul Elliott are delighted to announce that due to overwhelming demand for tickets around the country, even more dates have now been added to the UK and Ireland tour of the brand new production of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage. Many performances have already sold out, and since originally going on sale in October 2015, over 150,000 tickets have been snapped up, with over £5million taken.

The Belgrade Theatre is thrilled to announce that Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage will visit Coventry in 2017 following two blockbuster West End runs and two hit UK tours.

A slate of 4 vibrant and kinetic new LGBTQ+ plays and 1 musical have emerged as finalists in Pride Films and Plays' 2016 Great Gay Play and Musical Contest. They come from writers across the United States, and were selected by a reading team from across the country doing blind readings of the manuscripts. Those five scripts will be performed as Enhanced Staged Readings at the Center On Halsted's Hoover-Leppen, 3540 N Halsted, during Gay Play and Musical Weekend which is April 22 to 24, 2016. Baby', 'Do You Love Me?' and the heart stopping '(I've Had) The Time Of My Life', and follows two blockbuster West End runs and two hit UK tours. Casting will be announced in the spring.

La Strada Ensemble Theater presents Rainbow Festival 2015: A Celebration of LGBT Theater, six programs of one act plays, readings and a workshop production of a new musical by various playwrights from across the United States beginning today, June 4, and continuing through June 14 at Pub & Vine (formerly Bank on Mattison), 649 Mattison Avenue in Asbury Park. 

Due to unforeseeable circumstances La Strada will be moving the Rainbow Festival to the following locations: Program Red, Orange (One Act Evenings) & Blue (Rippled Reflection) will be at Jersey Shore Art Center, 66 South Main Street in Ocean Grove (a few blocks from Asbury Park and the Parade).  There are no changes in times.
