In the glow of its seven Tony® Award nominations, including one for Best Musical, producers Scott Sanders and Wynton Marsalis announced today that a trio of true music legends will make their way to Broadway this summer in After Midnight. Multi-award winning icons Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight and Natalie Cole (making her Broadway debut) are set to join the illustrious roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the red hot Broadway musical.

Returning for its fifth year, Las Vegas Broadway Bares presents "Got Wood?" on Friday, May 2 at 11:59 p.m. at the Planet Hollywood Showroom. A provocative collection of performances curated by entertainers up and down the Las Vegas Strip, "Got Wood?" will be hosted by Emmy Award® winner Jai Rodriguez of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and directed by Paula Caselton, formerly of "Peepshow" and now producer of the "Vanity Vixens" in New York City, and Ryan Lyons of "Le Reve- The Dream" at Wynn Las Vegas. Special guest performance by singer, song writer and philanthropist Matt Zarley performing his new hit single 'Somebody 4 Everybody'.

According to Out.com, music legend Patti LaBelle just attended a performance of Broadway's After Midnight, and will be the next star to join the guest lineup at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Current guest star Vanessa Williams will end her limited run on May 11, and will be followed by Fantasia, who returns on May 13.

As part of their 'In Performance at the White House' series, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major female artists to the White House for a celebration of the great 'foremothers' of American music, with songs expressing the struggles and achievements of women. The program will include performances by Tessanne Chin, Melissa Etheridge, Aretha Franklin, Ariana Grande, Patti LaBelle, Janelle Monae and Jill Scott, with Greg Phillinganes as music director.

Tessanne Chin is a Jamaican reggae fusion recording artist, best known for winning season five of the American reality TV singing competition The Voice on Adam Levine's team. Tessanne will make her Canadian debut on Saturday, May 17, 2014 with her Bread & Butter Band at The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto. Tickets range from $30-$85 and can be purchased in person at The Sony Centre box office or at ticketmaster.ca.

Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) held its 2014 Vision 2014 Gala on February 25th at Cipriani 42 in New York City. As Dance Theatre of Harlem celebrates its 45th Anniversary, this year's gala was themed 'Live the Moment' and raised $700,000, $75,000 of which resulted from the entertaining live auction conducted by Audrey Smaltz, with the proceeds benefitting the DTH School's Next Generation and Community Engagement Funds. Honorees were Grammy Award-winning recording artist Patti LaBelle with the Arthur Mitchell Vision Award; dance educator and arts advocate Jody Gottfried Arnhold with The Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation Medal; and Goldman, Sachs & Co. senior partner Valentino D. Carlotti with the inaugural Virtuoso Award. The evening's honorary chair was Billy Joel (not in attendance). Scroll down for photos!
