Eleven promising young theatre artists will receive 2015 USITT Awards for Young Designers & Technicians in the Performing Arts -- the YD&T awards -- at USITT 2015 in Cincinnati, now through March 21.

The Off-Broadway premiere of a new version of Joe Pintauro's classic drama SNOW ORCHID at the Lion Theatre on Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd St.), presented by the Miranda Theatre Company and directed by Valentina Fratti, plays a limited engagement through February 28. New Worlds Theatre Project (Ellen Perecman, Producing Artistic Director) has announced that it will present Peretz Hirshbein's Yiddish play, On the Other Side of the River, in a world premiere translation, beginning tonight, November 29 at 7pm at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue. The opening night is set for Thursday, December 4. On the Other Side of the River runs through Sunday, December 21.
