Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2009-2010 season, an exploration of the theme of belief, with American Buffalo by David Mamet, directed by ensemble member Amy Morton. American Buffalo features ensemble members Francis Guinan and Tracy Letts with Patrick Andrews. American Buffalo plays December 3, 2009 - February 7, 2010 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St. The press performance is Saturday, December 12 at 3:00 p.m.

The CD features arrangements by Peter White, Jonathan Williams and Richard Taylor. Edgar, the Bat Boy, is found in cave in West Virginia and then brought-up by a well-meaning family. Still the outsider, Edgar struggles to fit and survive in a world that is not ready to accept him.
