Virginia's Signature Theatre has announced the full cast for the world premiere production of Kid Victory, a new musical from legendary composer John Kander (Chicago, Cabaret) and acclaimed playwright Greg Pierce (Slowgirl).

On October 20, 2014, Florence Lacey (Broadway's Follies, Evita and Signature's Sunset Boulevard), Megan Lawrence (Broadway's Hair and Signature's Cabaret), Jacquelyn Piro Donovan (Broadway's Les Miserables and Signature's The Witches of Eastwick), Natascia Diaz (Broadway's Man of La Mancha and Signature's The Threepenny Opera) and Nick Blaemire (Broadway's Godspell and Signature's Glory Days) performed alongside 75 Signature Theatre artists and an 18-piece orchestra as Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre celebrated its 25th Anniversary. With performances from 27 shows over the last 25 years, including Sweeney Todd, The Rhythm Club, Urinetown, The Boy Detective Fails, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Dreamgirls, Chess, and many more. THE LIGHTNING THIEF began performances on July 21, 2014 at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street) and continues through Friday, August 22, 2014. Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit, 'House of Cards'), Teal Wicks (Jekyll and Hyde, Wicked), Stephen DeRosa (HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire'), Josh Grisetti (Enter Laughing) and Matthew Schechter (Act One) have joined the roster of performers set to appear in the one-night-only benefit concert of the new musical THE LIGHTNING THIEF on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).

On Monday, April 21, 2014 at 7 p.m., stage and screen stars Chuck Cooper, Charlotte d'Amboise, Kate Flannery, Judy Kuhn, Terrence Mann, John Tartaglia and many more will join together at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre for a one-night-only benefit concert production of the new musical THE LIGHTNING THIEF.

Olney Theatre Center will produce the groundbreaking Tony Award-winning musical A Chorus Line today, August 1 through September 1 on the Mainstage. With 24 performers and 8 musicians in the pit, A Chorus Line is the largest musical in Olney Theatre Center history.

Be prepared for something very different from the typical musicals in Olney's historic 75th year history.

On March 2, 2013, Olney Theatre Center will host the Diamond Gala, a black-tie fundraising event celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Olney Theatre Center. The event will include a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, live musical performances from Olney favorites George Dvorsky (Annie, The Sound of Music), Jessica Lauren Ball (1776, Grease, The Sound of Music, Cinderella), Donna Migliaccio (The Sound of Music, Cinderella), Caitlin Deerin (Annie), Parker Drown (Grease, Cinderella, Spring Awakening), MaryLee Adams (Spring Awakening) and Bobby Smith (Annie, The Sound of Music, Little Shop of Horrors), as well as silent and live auctions. Funds raised from the event will support Olney's artistic and educational programming which reaches over 100,000 audience members a year in Maryland and nationwide.

Spring Awakening, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opens Olney Theatre Center's 75th Anniversary Season tomorrow night and runs through March 10, 2013.
