Road Less Traveled Productions to Host 10th Anniversary Black-Tie Gala, 11/16

Non-profit theatre company Road Less Traveled Productions is inviting Western New York to enjoy a special night of performance and culture in the heart of Buffalo's Theatre District. On Saturday, November 16th, 2013, RLTP will host a 10th Anniversary Gala in celebration of its achievements to date. The black-tie event will offer attendees a full evening of entertainment, featuring dinner at Buffalo's historic Saturn Club on Delaware Avenue, a performance of Clybourne Park at 710 Main Theatre, and a post-performance cocktail reception with RLTP's 2013 American Theatre Master and 2013 Tony Award Winner Pam MacKinnon at the Saturn Club.

Three Day Hangover gets all romantic with R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match, their next Shakespeare drinking theatrical extravaganza performed in a bar with audience participation and booze. Lori Wolter Hudson directs a cast of ten, including Nick Mills* (The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin, The Steadfast) as Romeo and Suzy Jane Hunt* (Broadway's Dead Accounts, rogerandtom) as Juliet, with Matt Bradley*, Garrett Deagon, Grace Gealey*, David Hudson*, Paul Kite*, Jenna Panther*, Brendan Spieth*, and Titus Tompkins*. Six performances will be staged at Harley's Smokeshack (Midtown), 356 West 44th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10036 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm from September 25-October 4, 2013. *Member AEA. Producers of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Revival, are pleased to announce that Tracy Letts' Killer Joe will be heading to Broadway for the first time. The Broadway premiere of Killer Joe will reunite Pam MacKinnon, winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Director of a Play (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) and Tracy Letts, winner of the 2013 Tony Award for Best Actor (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?). The production is slated to hit Broadway in 2014.
