The starring cast members of Andrew Lloyd Webber's highly anticipated new historical scandal-based West End musical STEPHEN WARD convened to perform songs from the score with the world renown composer himself on hand and the first full song has now leaked.

As we continue our behind the scenes look at our much-anticipated production of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest, we thought we would next take a peek in our costume shop where our Resident Costume Designer, Trish Clark, has been heading the creation of a closet full of Victorian garb.

Lord Arthur Savile's CRIME will make its World Premiere today, September 28 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Wilton Playshop. Directed by Kirby Ward, Lord Arthur Savile's Crime is a new musical comedy, written by Kirby and Beverly Ward, with music and lyrics by Beverly Ward. Proceeds from these performances will benefit the Wilton Playshop.

For four nights only, the exclusive Los Angeles Athletic Club invites the public to attend a very special Victorian tea party and witness the hilarious courtships and confusions of Oscar Wilde's timeless comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest. Take two world renowned playwrights, mix in a theatre that is not afraid of a challenge, and you get the next offering in Cygnet Theatre's 11th season. By producing two great theatre classics in rotating repertory, Cygnet is once again raising the bar for San Diego theaters. The monumental task of directing both The Importance of Being Earnest and Travesties will be handled by Artistic Director Sean Murray. Synetic Theater kicks off its 2013-2014 season with a new adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, directed by Synetic Founder and Artistic Director Paata Tsikurishvili. Thrillpeddlers presents its 4th and final preview performance of Shocktoberfest 14 on Sept. 30, the very date that police received the letter that coined the name 'Jack the Ripper' and the case's double-murder occurred.

The Austin Shakespeare Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of Ayn Rand's novel ANTHEM. Adapted for the stage by composer Jeff Britting, curator of the Ayn Rand Archives, previews for ANTHEM begin tonight, September 25 at the Jerome Robbins Theater at the Baryshnikov Arts Center (450 W. 37th Street). Opening night is scheduled for Monday, October 7th for a limited ten-week run through December 1, 2013.

In conjunction with the Natural History Museum of L.A. County's 100th Anniversary, Chalk Repertory Theatre will premiere GALLERY SECRETS, four new short plays commissioned by four Los Angeles playwrights performed after hours at NHM. Each play is inspired by an assigned gallery, and set in the time period when that gallery was built, uncovering 100 years of history, architecture and exhibits.
