WET Productions is pleased to announce the launch of The 2009 INKubator Summer Series, a unique and intimate look into new plays featured in three double features by the most dynamic women creating theater today.

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is delighted to announce its latest production, Crazy For You. You'll be swept up in this artfully constructed tale of boy meets girl in the Wild West! The songs of George and Ira Gershwin are the inspiration of this Tony Award winning musical comedy that brings to the stage the nostalgic showmanship of 1930's Broadway. With a book written by Ken Ludwig, Crazy For You is perfect blend of classic American music, unforgettable dancing and riotous laughter, featuring such Gershwin hits as I Got Rhythm, Someone To Watch Over Me, Embraceable You, and They Can't Take That Away From Me. Crazy For You will play the following performance schedule: Thursdays at 8:00 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater announces the cast for the first of three Mainstage productions of the 25th anniversary season: Ninety, by Joanna Murray-Smith, directed by Maria Mileaf, beginning performances June 30 and running through July 12, and new additions to the star-filled line-up for the 25th anniversary gala benefit, 'Silver Celebration under the Stars,' June 27.

Legendary actress Carroll Baker will be awarded the prestigious Medal of Honor at a dinner held in her honor at The National Arts Club in New York City. Baker, whose most notable film, Baby Doll (1956), garnered her a Golden Globe and Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, will join the esteemed ranks of previous honorees including Arthur Penn, Cliff Robertson, Sylvia Sydney, Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Dreyfuss, Danny Aiello, Lynn Redgrave, Olympia Dukakis and Norman Jewison.

La Jolla Playhouse announced today the addition of the world-premiere musical Bonnie & Clyde, to its 2009-10 season, replacing The Big Time. This production features music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel), lyrics by Tony Award-winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard, Song and Dance), book by Ivan Menchell (The Cemetery Club, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), and direction by Jeff Calhoun (Deaf West's Big River and Pippin, Grease!). Bonnie & Clyde will run November 10 - December 20, 2009 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre.

Ensemble Studio Theatre (William Carden, Artistic Director, Paul Alexander Slee, Executive Director) will present Marathon 2009, E.S.T.?s 31st annual festival of new one-act plays, at E.S.T. (549 West 52nd Street). Performances begin Friday, May 22nd, and continue through Saturday, June 27th.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) presents Craig Lucas' THE SINGING FOREST. Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, THE SINGING FOREST will end a limited run Sunday, May 17th. The show celebrated Opening Night on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 PM.
