THE BOOK OF MORMON Sets Lottery Policy for San Francisco Run

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Wednesday, April 15 at 2pm at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco and plays through Saturday, June 27, 2015. In San Francisco, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $29 apiece.

Yesterday, The Tony Awards hosted 'Broadway in Hollywood,' a cocktail party to toast the Broadway community in Los Angeles. The night paid tribute to the honorees of past Tony Awards and friends from the Great White Way. The event was sponsored by La Crema Wines, the official wine of the Tony Awards, and additional support was provided by media partner, The Hollywood Reporter. Check out photos below!

For our March feature, my colleague Jeff Walker and I thought that instead of marking the Ides of March with songs about murder, betrayal, and fate, we would focus on the synergy between showtunes and Shakespeare.

THE BOOK OF MORMON holds the record for the largest weekly gross in the history of the Bank of America Theatre and played to over 100% capacity during its 2012-2013 engagement.
