A co-production between their two respective companies, Nigel Lythgoe Productions (NLP) and Legacy Productions, A CHANCE TO DANCE follows Michael Nunn and William Trevitt - two former Royal Ballet dancers known as 'The BalletBoyz,' as they audition, select and train a new American dance company.

Tonight on AMERICAN IDOL, the two contestants with the lowest number of votes faced the judges, and it was up to Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez to determine who would be headed home.

According to Frominsidethebox.com, Simon Cowell, producer of the Fox singing competition THE X FACTOR, has thrown out an offer to producers of NBC's 'The Voice' and Fox's 'American Idol' to have a 'super final' among the winners of his show and the two higher rated programs.

70 contestants still remain at the start of tonight's AMERICAN IDOL episode, and they'll be headed to Las Vegas to sing the music of the 1950s and 60s in groups for a chance to be one of the 40 who will continue on the singing competition.

This week on AMERICAN IDOL, the 185 remaining contestants are to be whittled down with both group numbers and solo performances. As the groups prepare to perform, some singers oversleep while others are ill-prepared, some are just ill, and still more are fighting with their own group.
