Sykes Extends as 'Hannigan' in Media Theatre's ANNIE

Wanda Sykes is currently leading the Media Theatre's production of ANNIE as 'Miss Hannigan' - the iconic child-hating orphanage director with an affinity for alcoholic beverages - this holiday season. Sykes opened the production on November 23 and had been scheduled to close the production on January 16, 2011 following a Christmas absence. The Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre's new holiday production, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, has followed in the footsteps of the theatre's other children's Christmas shows by selling out only shortly into its run. That being the case, Way Off Broadway has added an additional performance of the show on Wednesday evening, December 15th. The doors will open for dinner at 6:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m.
