With a book by Neil Simon and music by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields, SWEET CHARITY is a 1960s show full of love, quirkiness, music, jive and life's twist of fate. Charity Hope Valentine is a tenacious, hopeless romantic trying to make a living in a New York dance hall. Although her luck is down, Charity refuses to give up and vows to get out. Originally choreographed by Bob Fosse, numbers such as 'Big Spender', 'If My Friends Could See Me Now', 'Rhythm of Life', 'I'm a Brass Band' and the 'Rich Man's Frug' keep toes tappin' and audiences wanting more.
Reprise Theatre Company Announces THE APPLE TREE and CABARET

Reprise Theatre Company will present 'The Apple Tree' with book music and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith, and based on stories by Mark Twain, Frank R. Stockton, and Jules Feiffer as the third production of its 2011-2012 season, playing April 17 to 29, 2012 at the Freud Playhouse.

Now in previews, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will open on Broadway Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Neil Simon Theatre. This new musical, created by a team of Tony winners, features a book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, choreography by Jerry Mitchell and is directed by Jack O'Brien. According to TVGuide, Anna Chlumsky and William Sadler are set to guest star on USA's White Collar. Both will star in the third season's second episode. Chumsky will star as an FBI agent, while Sadler will play a security consultant.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN has launched a new seat upgrade initiative offering every audience member the chance to upgrade their seat to a pair in the 'First Class' section of the orchestra. During preview performances, beginning 30 minutes before curtain, audience members can text in to a number listed in their Playbill and one winner will be chosen at random 10 minutes prior to show time. Every audience member who enters, regardless of seat location in the theater, is eligible to be upgraded. The seat upgrade is sponsored by JetBlue - the Official Airline of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, opening Sunday, April 10 at The Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).
James Earl Jones Awarded O'Neill's Monte Cristo Award, 5/9

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center will present its annual Monte Cristo Award to legendary Broadway and screen actor James Earl Jones, in recognition of his monumental achievements and contributions to the American and international theater community. The award will be presented to Mr. Jones at a gala dinner held in his honor at Bridgewaters - South Street Seaport in New York City on Monday, May 9th at 6:30pm.

After a breif hiatus, ROCK OF AGES re-opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway last night, March 24. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The production moved houses to make way for RAIN, which had to vacate it's home at the Neil Simon Theatre to accommodate Catch Me If You Can. The producers of RAIN - A Tribute to The Beatles On Broadway announced today that a new block of tickets is now on sale for the hit show, currently playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Tickets for RAIN range from $25 - $120 (including a $1.50 facility fee) and can be purchased by visiting the Brooks Atkinson box office (256 W 47th St), online at www.Ticketmaster.com, or calling 877-250-2929. The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesday at 7PM; Wednesday through Saturday at 8PM with a 2pm matinee on Wednesday and Saturday; Sunday at 3PM. Although RAIN is an open-ended engagement on Broadway, tickets are now on sale through January 1, 2012.
