RAIN to Close on Broadway September 4

There are now just 11 weeks left to see the concert event of the summer! The 2011 Drama Desk Award winning production of RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway will play its final performance on Broadway Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th St) after 8 previews and 341 regular performances. After opening October 26, 2010 at the Neil Simon theatre for a rockin' 13 week limited engagement where RAIN recouped its initial $2 million investment in only seven weeks, the show re-opened by popular demand at the Brooks Atkinson theatre beginning performances February 8, 2011.

Drury Lane Theatre presents Neil Simon's Tony Award-winning dramatic comedy BROADWAY BOUND, opening June 16 and running through July 31 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane. BROADWAY BOUND stars Jeff Award and Drama Desk Award winner Mike Nussbaum as 'Ben' (Glengarry Glen Ross on Broadway, The Merchant of Venice at Chicago Shakespeare); Jeff Award and Sarah Siddons Award winner Carmen Roman (National Tour of Angels in America) as 'Kate,' reprising the role she played in the 2004 Peninsula Players production of BROADWAY BOUND; and multi-Jeff Award recipient and Sarah Siddons Award winner Paula Scrofano as 'Blanche' (Thoroughly Modern Millie at Drury Lane Theatre, The Most Happy Fella at Ravinia Festival, The Wizard of Oz at Chicago Shakespeare, and Sunday in the Park with George at Goodman Theatre). The production is directed by David New, multi-Jeff Award nominee, Sarah Siddons Award winner and former Associate Artistic Director at Steppenwolf Theatre.

Beverley Randolph Memorial Held Thursday At Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

A memorial service will be held for long-time production stage manager Beverley Randolph Thursday, June 30 at 2:00 pm at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Friends, family, colleagues are welcome to attend the memorial.
