Smith Global Sets Release Date for Star-Studded Social Injustice Film CANAL STREET

Smith Global Media announced today they have acquired the Worldwide rights to CANAL STREET, which screened to rave reviews at this year's American Black Film Festival (ABFF) among others. The film will open on January 18th, 2019, over Martin Luther King weekend, with a limited release playing in screens throughout the country.

BronzeLens Film Festival 2018 (BronzeLens) will present an interactive experience designed to stimulate ideation and foster collaborations over the course of five days, August 22-26. Programming includes a diverse mix of cutting-edge panels, workshops, master classes and highly anticipated signature festival events such as BronzeLens Women SuperStars Luncheon, BronzeLens Awards Show and Brunch with the Brothers.

True Colors Theatre Company (Kenny Leon, Co-Founding Artistic Director) and Jujamcyn Theaters (Jordan Roth, President) are proud to announce the winners of the 10th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition that was held last night, on Monday, May 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). In first place, Gerardo Navarro from Los Angeles, in second place, Nia Sarfo from Chicago, and third place went to Teslyne Junior from New York City.
