NBC Shares Primetime Schedule For 3/19-4/15

The Public Theater presents the New York premiere of Office Hour, written by Julia Cho and directed by Neel Keller, part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR. Office Hour will run through Sunday, December 3 with an official press opening last night, November 8.

The Public Theater is currently presenting its Free Shakespeare in the Park production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, directed by Lear deBessonet with choreography by Chase Brock. Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. 

The New York Premiere of Church & State, the critically acclaimed play by Jason Odell Williams, opened last night at New World Stages (340 W. 50th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues) for an open-ended engagement. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening bows and festivities below!

Sweat, the acclaimed new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey completed its long journey and opened last night on Broadway. New York Stage and Film has announced its inaugural Filmmakers' Workshop, which launches July 7th on Vassar's campus as part of New York Stage and Film & Vassar's 31st Powerhouse Season. Designed to support early-career screenwriters with creative development and mentorship, the Filmmakers' Workshop features a tailored, process-oriented approach akin to Powerhouse's celebrated development of plays and musicals.

In next week's episode of NBC's THE BLACKLIST entitled 'The Front,' Agents Keen (Megan Boone) Ressler, (Diego Klattenhoff), and Cooper (Harry Lennix) pursue an eco-terrorist cell in search of a destructive weapon. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) tries to lose her guardian. Elsewhere, Red (James Spader) uses manipulation to pursue someone close to his heart. Amir Arison and Mozhan Marno also star.

Oscar winning actor Peter Fonda will guest star on an upcoming episode of NBC's hit drama series THE BLACKLIST.
